Cookie policy

This page explains what AGV Simulation Studio stores in your browser when you visit the public pages, the user guide and the app at agvsimulationstudio.com, and how you can manage it.
In short
- No advertising or profiling cookies, no embedded third-party content and no externally hosted fonts.
- Statistics cookies from Google Analytics, on the public pages and in the guide only, and only if you accept them. The app is never measured.
- Everything else is technical storage the service needs to work, kept in your browser's local storage (localStorage and IndexedDB) and in one technical cookie of the app, which the law treats like cookies. Under Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC and Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003), it does not require your consent.

Statistics cookies, with your consent
If you accept statistics in the cookie window, the public pages and the guide load Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to measure in aggregate form how they are used: pages viewed, time on page, how visitors arrive, device and browser type, and approximate location. Google Analytics does not log or store the IP addresses of visitors in the European Union. Google signals and ad personalization are turned off. URLs and referrers exclude query parameters and fragments; authentication callbacks are excluded. Without your consent Google Analytics is not loaded and no request reaches Google.

User and event data retention is set to 2 months; this limit does not apply to standard aggregated reports. Cookies expire after 13 months without renewal on each visit. Google may process it in the United States; its parent company Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. The privacy notice has the details.
Third parties
Accounts and sign-in are provided by Supabase, which the app contacts directly from your browser; it sets no cookies on this site. If you sign in with Google or Microsoft, you continue on their pages, where their own cookie policies apply. Google Analytics is described above.
Managing your choices
You can give or withdraw your consent at any time from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of each public page and of the guide. Withdrawing it deletes the Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page.
You can also delete everything listed above from your browser settings, under the site data for agvsimulationstudio.com. Deleting the sign-in session signs you out; deleting the recovery copy discards changes you have not saved.
Changes to this policy
If other cookies are added, they will be listed here and set only after your consent, asked with a window where rejecting is as easy as accepting. Everyone will then be asked again.
Who is responsible
The data controller is BIT Automation srl (VAT IT03806430363). For questions about this policy or to exercise your rights under the GDPR, write to info@agvsimulationstudio.com. The privacy notice describes all processing of personal data and your rights, including the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.
