Shortcuts, units and limits
Everything you may need to look up while working, on one page.
Keyboard shortcuts
On macOS use ⌘ where Ctrl is shown. Shortcuts are ignored while you type in a text field.
Everywhere

| 9 | Traffic zone |
| F8 | Toggle Ortho |
| Ctrl (held) | Temporary Ortho; constrains moves and control points to an axis |
| Alt+click | Select the path under a station or link |
| Shift+click / Shift+drag | Add to or remove from the selection |
| Delete · Backspace | Delete the selection |
Plant logic
| Keys | Action |
| Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V | Copy / paste selected blocks with their internal connections |
| Shift/Ctrl+click | Add or remove a block from the selection |
| Delete | Delete selected blocks or connection |
| Esc | Cancel a connection in progress |
Mouse, trackpad and touch
| Gesture | Action |
| Wheel · two-finger scroll | Pan (Shift + wheel: horizontal) |
| Ctrl + wheel · pinch | Zoom around the pointer |
| Middle-button drag | Pan |
| Two fingers on a touchscreen | Pan and zoom together |
| One finger in Simulate | Pan |
In the Plant logic editor the wheel zooms and the middle button pans. Adding a second finger cancels a drag still in preview; lift the remaining finger before the next gesture.
Units
| Quantity | Unit |
| Coordinates, lengths, distances, AGV size | millimetres (mm) |
| Speeds | centimetres per second (cm/s) |
| Acceleration and braking | cm/s² |
| Times, intervals, durations | simulated seconds (s); battery autonomy and charge time in hours |
| Angles | degrees, counter-clockwise from +X |
| Image CAD backgrounds | 10 mm per pixel |
Quick conversions: 80 cm/s = 0.8 m/s = 2.88 km/h; 1 m = 1000 mm.

What the model does and does not do
- Respects path directions and links; never invents reverse routes or repairs layouts.
- Integrates acceleration and braking; stops exactly before reversing.
- Avoids collisions locally with swept-footprint reservations and a braking corridor; exclusive zones add one-at-a-time access.
- Does not guarantee freedom from deadlocks, model steering or grip, or represent the safety of real vehicles.
- Battery curves are illustrative, not calibrated.
- Random missions make runs non-reproducible after Reset.
Glossary
- Allocation
- Choosing which AGV takes an order (AGV selection rule).
- Dispatching
- Choosing which queued order is served next (mission priority).
- Lead time
- Time from the creation of an order to its delivery.
- Execution time
- Time from assignment to delivery.
- P95
- The value below which 95 % of observations fall.
- Throughput
- Missions completed per hour.
- Utilisation
- Share of time a vehicle is not idle.
- Gridlock
- Vehicles with missions waiting on each other so that none can move.
- Return
- An idle vehicle driving to a free charger or parking; not a transport mission.
- Sequence
- In Plant logic, one independent flow through the blocks started by a trigger.
- Cusp
- A point where the vehicle changes direction of travel and must stop.
